Excellence Management Director

Job purpose

The jobholder is responsible for overseeing Excellence Management Department including institutional excellence, organizational development and quality improvement to achieve excellence, efficiency and effectiveness in CCHI in line with quality standards and international best practices

Responsibilities

Guide the development of institutional excellence and organizational methodologies and tools, improve processes and quality management to ensure CCHI development in coordination with concerned departments
Approve CCHI organizational manual based on organizational studies
Direct the development and continuous improvement of CCHI policies, processes, procedures, and forms in coordination with departments in order to improve practices, ensure consistency and abidance with rules and regulations
Direct institutional excellence initiatives and processes automation to guarantee internal stakeholders’ access
Disseminate the concept and culture of institutional excellence between departments to enhance operational performance in CCHI
Approve ideas, initiatives and proposals that contribute to the enhancement of operational performance in CCHI and ensure that improvement recommendations are applied
Monitor and ensure support is provided to departments in meeting the requirements of the Awards of Institutional Excellence and help them understand the standards
Direct corporate excellence products that contribute to business excellence of CCHI
Work on obtaining European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM)
Direct development/update of CCHI quality programs and initiatives to achieve institutional excellence and ensure departments-wide implementation
Ensure coordination with national and international quality certification bodies, participate in institutional excellence forums to improve quality management system, and plan recertification
Guide the development of annual quality audit plan to assess compliance to quality standards and policies
Direct the implementation of initiatives to increase the happiness index at CCHI

Education, Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering or a related field
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor or Chartered Business Excellence Professional or EFQM Internal Assessor or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) or any other equivalent certification is a must
Knowledge of ISO standards
Proficient in oral and written English language (intermediate)

Experience

9+ years of relevant experience with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role
Experience in business excellence and ISO quality management system
Previous experience in insurance sector or healthcare sector is a must
