Job Description
We are looking for a Systems Architect. The position is available immediately and can be accomplished from our office in Jeddah.

Qualifications
Your mission
His main task is to monitor and configure production and test environments, based on Websphere Application Server and Oracle DB. Apache Webservers as well as network equipment such as NLB would also be part of his responsibility. At the moment servers are based on virtual nodes over RedHat servers. He should be able to:
Optimize described architecture according to best practices and monitoring /logging information.
Identify issues that might lead to future outages and report to our architects for analysis.
Suggest improvements on system parameterization and application behavior, based actual system monitoring.
Support in case of performance or stability issues to recover the system and get relevant information for forensic reports, including suggestions to avoid similar situations in the future.
Support stress tests definition and execution to assess system capacity, bottlenecks and optimal configuration.
Successful candidate must have a wide experience (not less than 1 year with similar level or responsibility out of a total minimum experience of 3 years on the described technical environment) in a similar position for a big company in mission critical systems involving technical infrastructures as defined. He would work on end customer’s premises, in collaboration with his system administrators and reporting to our PMs and architects. Job conditions would be as usual (working hours, vacations,..) but it’s required his urgent assistance in case of emergency call (24×7 call support, ideally able to be at customer premises in no more than 2 hours in case of system failure).
