Senior Java Software Engineer Job Vacancy In Qatar
DMCG Global have been selected by a highly successful start-up to recruit a Senior Java Engineer to help build a HR tech and marketplace type platform. We are looking for backend engineers who enjoy developing applications, complex functioning systems and can leads teams effectively.
Responsibilities:
Execute and deliver large, complex projects end-to-end, comfortably as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
Guide and troubleshoot for team members.
Design, develop, and architect products ensuring alignment with business goals.
Write clean code and test automation (Unit, integration, and functional tests).
Review code in line with design patterns and the company’s coding standards.
Collaborate with the product team and wider business to recommend technical solutions
Research and provide proof of concepts for new technologies to implement that would offer a competitive advantage.
Improve the quality and performance of the existing solution.
Provide mentorship for junior engineers
On-board new engineers
Requirements:
5+ years experience in backend development.
Strong knowledge of OOP including object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Excellent proficiency of Java 8+, microservices, and Spring Boot Framework.
Expertise in database modeling using relational database technologies such as SQL.
Experienced with Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD processes.
Confident in building highly-available and scalable distributed systems
Can effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions, react quickly to new changing environments and think outside the box.
Passionate about clean and elegant code.
