Store Manager
Manages and controls the store operations to achieve monthly sales targets in order to achieve or exceed the annual business plan objectives. Ensures the smooth and uninterrupted operations of all processes in the store and upholds the operational standards and core commercial aspects of the business as per company policy and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
· Ensures the store’s continuous delivery of the brand/company’s Customer Service standards in order to meet or exceed customer’s expectations and satisfaction.
· Ensures the store’s hygiene, housekeeping & maintenance are in line with company standards, policies, and procedures in order to create a pleasant shopping environment and uphold the brand and company image at all times.
PLANNING AND ORGANIZING
· Ensures adequate stock and range of products are available at the right time on the sales floor in order to meet the business objectives.
· All product delivery information is registered to the system on a timely and accurate basis.
· Ensures timely unpacking of all products received in order to present the product on the sales floor.
· Ensures all Brand-specific and generic marketing and promotional activities are implemented in the store.
· Ensures loss and prevention procedures are implemented as required to protect company assets and properties from any form of loss including internal & external theft.
· Ensures the day-to-day cash operations and security measures comply with company policy and procedures.
· Reports to the respective manager and relevant authorities any breach of company policy or procedures concerning cash in order to protect the company’s monetary assets.
RESULT ORIENTATION
· Organizes the achievement of the monthly sales target in order to meet or exceed the annual business plan objectives.
· Monitoring the daily sales and recording all sales issues affecting store and sales performances.
· Delivers the Brand Average Transaction Value and Units Transaction Values in order to achieve sales targets.
TEAM WORKING
· Leads and motivates staff in the effective achievement of the daily store operations objectives in order to maximize productivity.
· Continuously trains, develops, and appraises store staff in order to ensure effective performance of their tasks in line with company standards.
· Organizes the store staff working schedule keeping in mind peak trading times in order to ensure the store is appropriately staffed at all times.
· Recruits staff with the right skills, experience, and behaviors1 and encourages the retention of team members.
· Ensures that staff hygiene, attendance, and behavior in the store are in line with store operations & company policies and procedures.

· Treats colleagues/customers with dignity and respect at all times.
· Maintain day-to-day personal hygiene and wear the proper uniform at all times in line with company policies and procedures and the required standards.

· Achievement of Sales Targets
· Zero customer complaints
· Timely display of all marketing, promotional materials & merchandise as per required timescales
· Timely positioning of all products on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
· No deviation from Brand standards & company policy on security, loss prevention & or stock management.
· Staff personal standards are in accordance with Company standards.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
· Bachelor’s Degree.
· English Speaker.
· Skilled in maximizing sales.
· Problem-solving skills.
· Team Leader.
· Decision Maker.
· Ability to solve conflict
· Previous experience as a store manager (3+ years )
