To conduct physiotherapeutic assessment, provide an accurate diagnosis and deliver patient focused treatment program to achieve service excellence.
Responsibilities:
Conduct physiotherapeutic assessment of patients, using clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide a physiotherapy diagnosis of the condition of the patients. Diagnose and recommend best course of intervention, developing discharge plans.
Articulate and deliver physiotherapy treatment programme based on the diagnoses and evidence of the treatment options available. Provide the best specialized possible physiotherapy services for all age and gender groups.
Plan and manage physiotherapy programs for a designated caseload of patients and organize this effectively and efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and achieving the service excellence.
Communicate with patients and carers, demonstrate ability to deliver difficult diagnosis with tact and sympathy. Provide ongoing support to families during times of emotional distress. Manage distressed or aggressive patients or carers in complex and sensitive situations.
Maintain timely patient documentation, records and accurate information to reflect care provided and to meet professional standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years licensed experience in a Neuro/geriatric rehabilitation setting & experience in home care setting.
Must have a current active physiotherapy license in Kuwait OR be eligible for physiotherapy license in Kuwait
