We are looking for a direct sales executive for renowned banks. The candidate should have previous banking experience or relevant outdoor sales experience. The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities.

 

Job Purpose

To sell personal banking products, with a focus on Personal Loans and Credit Cards, to potential retail prospects. The key focus is on new to bank acquisition.

Responsibilities

Conduct outdoor meetings, generating leads, making sales calls, continuously updating our database, and meeting sales targets.
Successfully create business by focusing on new to bank customers.
Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers.
Report daily on hourly basis to team leader and sales manager. Maintain DSR (Daily Sales Report) in timely manner.
Should perform all the vital checks and be aligned with the banks code of conduct policy. Also, be vigilant while meeting the customers ensuring they are meeting genuine customers completely eliminating the possibility of fraud.
Adhere to do quality checks while receiving the documents from the customer ensuring complete set of documents are received, documents are valid, KYC is originally seen and signed.
Ensure the true proposition of the product is communicated to the customer without making any false commitments.
Must be disciplined and punctual to work. Respect and tolerance should be shown to colleagues and seniors at all given points.

Qualifications

2-5 years’ quota-carrying outdoor sales experience.
Must have at least 1 year of experience in selling credit cards and personal loans.
Experience and working knowledge of face-to-face meetings.
Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Should have a degree in finance-related field i.e. BBA, B.Com.
