This a Swimming Coach role with a middle management function, mainly responsible for delivering operational excellence across the board, including Marketing; Human Resource Management; Member Management; Service-Quality delivery and Member Retention; Scheduling & Programming; Performance Metrics of the program.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operations

Daily program management by ensuring correct conduct of classes and delivery of the program
Defining the program governance (controls), managing risks and issues, and taking corrective actions
Planning the overall program by curating assessment criteria and monitoring customer progress
Producing accurate and timely reporting of customer progress
Immediately respond to member needs or concerns to ensure the quality of service meets agreed standards
Managing the main program documentations
Responsible for the quarterly renewal

Marketing

Responsible for the campaign briefs relative to program launches & growth.
Responsible of the program’s social media accounts (content calendar, content creation, community management)
Coordinate with marketing team on the update of the program landing page & website content
Managing communication with its community and internal stakeholders
Responsible for marketing initiative relative to the area/programs (partnerships, shooting requests) to drive growth
Responsible for programs admin assets update (certificates, handbooks, progress tracking data…)
Managing projects and events with the stakeholders (event production, campaign brief, bookings, logistics…)

Budgeting/Program Performance

Reporting on the program’s performance metrics including attendance, retention, capacity utilization, number of members and frequency
Managing the program’s performance metrics to optimize performance

Human Resources

Proactive recruitment of potential freelancers and PEPs to deliver the program
Provide training and direction to full-time and freelance coaches, and PT coaches in the execution of the program
Leave management of full-time team members
Overall team motivation and attend to disciplinary procedures, as needed

Facilities Management

Managing and utilizing resources which includes but not limited to equipment and area e.g. pool
In-charge of the opening and closing checklist on the FM Software

Required Skills and Qualifications

ASCA Level 2 certified or equivalent
Min 3 years of aquatics / swimming experience
At least 5 years of coaching experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science or related discipline preferred
Swimming accomplishments as a swimmer and as a coach
Swimming certifications like Learn To Swim etc.
Must possess (or obtain after hire): safety training for swim coaches and CPR/First Aid certification.
UAE REPs is a plus
