Reception Activities:

– Greet and welcome visitors and patients in a friendly manner and escort them to appropriate waiting areas as needed and always represent IMAGES in a very professional manner.

– Inform patients about the available services, the nature of imaging exams and respond to all their inquiries professionally in a timely manner to ensure that patients are always satisfied and assisted with their problems/issues.

– Book appointments for walk-in patients considering the current appointment schedule and inform them of available time/days on which the appointment can be scheduled.

– Perform patient check-in at the time of visit, complete all paperwork necessary, provide them with necessary forms to obtain their demographic information and register the patient in the system to ensure that the admitting process is efficient and in-line with the regulatory and internal policies of IMAGES.

– Inform the required internal party within IMAGES (Technologist, Radiologist, Nurse, etc.) regarding the visiting patient to confirm and remind about scheduled appointment and keep the patient advised regarding any delay in their appointment or for obtaining their report.

– Follow-up with the Insurance Team to verify the patient’s insurance information, eligibility and coverage through scanning insurance cards into the computer system and obtain payment charges from the Insurance team as per coverage rates of the patient’s insurance provider.

Prepare bills and receipts for patients, perform and obtain payments from patients for their requested service(s) in a proficient manner, organize & maintain payment forms and reconcile payments and KNET reports at the end of the day in coordination with the Finance Department as needed.

– Receive, print, burn report CDs, verify the medical reports and contact the patients to determine where the reports are to sent (i.e. to the patient or referring doctor) and whether the reports are to be sent through email/any other digital modules or to be physically collected.

– Maintain accuracy of patient and health information in all reports before releasing and deliver the imaging reports to walk-in patients and provide the right patient within the estimated timeframe after ensuring receipt of payment.

– Maintain and update medical records for both new and old patients manually and in the system and assemble/file records in designated areas according to applicable alphabetic and numeric filing systems.

– Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.

Qualifications and Certifications:

– Diploma in Business Management/Business Administration, Human Resources or any related field.

Work Experience

– Minimum of 0 – 2 years of experience in the same or any related field.

– Good knowledge in operating computers, printers and photocopier, burning CDs, organizing and filing records and system, spreadsheets, word processing documents, medical terminology and practices, greeting patients and responding to all inquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner.

Language Skills:

– Good command in English & Arabic Language.
