Talent Relation Specialist is responsible for the development and administration of the employee relations program, affirmative action program and employee advocacy. This position interfaces with employees, government agencies and educational institutions.
Minimum Education Level :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field or diploma degree in Business Administration or relevant field is preferable.
Minimum Experience Level:
A minimum of three years proven experience in a customer service leadership position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Oversees the career development and internal recruiting efforts within the organization.
• Assists with external recruiting efforts, including maintaining relationships with schools, associations, and other recruiters. Represents the organization at selected job fairs. Assists management with performance concerns, disciplinary action, and conflict management issues.
• Administers equal employment opportunity and affirmative action programs.
• Conducts exit interviews, summarizes findings, and discusses trends and concerns with senior management.
• Participates in quality assurance activities.
• Maintains an attitude and philosophy consistent with the company’s standards.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
• Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and employment laws and regulations.
• Expert knowledge of Labor Law.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
