HR Responsibilities:

Specifically for the Western Region

Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
Provide counselling on policies and procedures
Provide HR induction for new joiners subjective they join the sites directly
Assist in performance management processes
Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues for the Western Region.
Support HR Generalist with Warning Letters across all projects
Maintain employee grievance records according to policy and legal requirements
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
Attrition reports monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Exit interview for the Staff and DSD staff on site.
Prepare annual employee relations strategy.

Welfare Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility in ensuring compliance of welfare policies for employees are effectively managed and implemented
Handle employee complaints, counselling and grievance
Identify and address issues, concerns, the root cause of an employee and any matter that needs escalation to the Management
Ensure necessary assistance and care is given to an employee who has undergone medical treatment and residing at our accommodations.
Maintain welfare-related Reports/Updates
Visit accommodations/camps to conduct welfare-related inspections
Arrange to follow up with the new arrivals
Coordinate with the accommodation and site admins to meet with employees.
Meet with the absentees to understand and motivate to report to work.
Prepare follow up programs on the needs analysis
Deliver employee welfare-related training
Keep the HR and QHSE team informed of these observations
Engage idle employees through various activities including training
Provide support to Operations in handling late leave return cases and disciplinary cases
Initiate disciplinary actions, including recommendations of warning, suspension or termination
Handle resignation cases to understand the reason and possibility of retaining a separating employee
Try to retain employees who have resigned or not willing to renew their contract.
Follow up with medical cases in the early repatriation
Identify talents and update for the internal talent pool

QHSE- (IMS) Responsibilities:

To ensure all staff within their remit receives adequate training in line with site / departmental policies and procedures
Be aware of workplace hazards / environmental aspects and controls
Be aware of emergency response procedures
Adherence to company QHSE Policies and Procedures
Report any accident/incident/near miss and provide support in incident investigation

Main Responsibilities – Focus Area:

Create awareness and contribute towards Zero accidents/site HSE committee implementation

Essential Knowledge & Experience ( Role Specific):

Bachelor’s degree
HR credentials will be a plus
Minimum experience in handling similar role (4-5 years)
