Our client, a multinational hospital based in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) is currently looking to hire a Consultant Radiologist (US board Certified or with CCT) to join the facility.

Duties and responsibilities:
Reviewing and interpreting medical images to determine patient status and future medical care
Position patients to capture appropriate images.
Determining the exact images required for diagnosis and delivering orders to Radiological Technicians
Administering trace amounts of radioactive substances to create and enhance diagnostic images
Performing minimally invasive surgical techniques such as embolization, angioplasty and ablation with image guidance
Working with Primary Care Doctors, Nurses and Radiology Technicians to administer treatment and manage pain
Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Creating a treatment plans
Work with lab technicians to guarantee image quality.
Communicate and discuss test results with other physicians.
Discuss results with patient, and family members if appropriate.
Troubleshoot equipment errors and work with engineers to resolve malfunctions.
Process X-rays in a timely manner to assist physicians with the diagnostic process.
Prepare radiology equipment for use, ensuring that it is working properly for accurate scans.
Review medical records and interview patients to understand their medical histories in preparation for conducting imaging.
Instruct patients on properly preparing for imaging in advance of the procedure.
Administer contrast material, both oral and IV.
Follow UAE and hospital regulations and guidelines at all times when handling patient images.
