Responsibilities
· Develop multiple database applications to streamline and automate core processes: including human resources in-boarding, payroll systems and article/advertising layouts.
· Extend PFC library functions, leveraging OO methodology to build UI and data layer classes.
· Have designed and develop many windows, user objects and data windows to enhance the PB applications.
· Develop new GUI pages for business needs.
· Tune and monitor, SQL and PL/SQL performance.
· Enhance existing GUI to become more user friendly.
· Coordinate testing of changes for new releases with head of QA department.
· Used object orient language like PowerBuilder v9.0 in a UNIX environment with SYBASE ASE 15.0 and DB2.
· Create and modified/update new PB objects (windows, structures, functions, user objects using SQL).
· Work closely with the QA group in troubleshooting and clarifying issues arising from design change or anomalies encounter during testing.
· Modify store procedure in parameters to retrieve and display reports base on are of business PFC, SFC, and Mexico.
· Develop back-end PL/SQL procedures for implementing business processes.
· Implement database changes and corresponding UI modification in application.
· Involve in creating Sybase procedures/packages and other database relate development.
· Conduct system testing and debugging on a duplicate production environment.
· Involve in business analysis and technical design sessions with business and technical staff to develop requirements document and ETL specifications.

· Engineer Linux/Unix application environments for optimal performance and scaling.
· Document all installation procedures and network configurations for the using Microsoft Visio.
Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.
· 6+ years of solid PowerBuilder experience.
· Knowledge and fluency in PowerBuilder is required.
· 6+ years’ experience with Oracle DB.
· 6+ years’ experience with Crystal reports.
· Knowledge in .net environment.
· Previous ETL migrations experience a plus.
· Experience developing highly performing and scalable code.
· Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex system processes.
· Individual should be a faster starter and able to jump in and understand legacy code.
· Strong communication skills must be a team player.
· Excellent attention to details.
· Results and customer oriented.
· Team player with organization and people handling skills.
