Legal and Compliance Officer Jobs in Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities:
Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Conduct legal research on various matters affecting Tawzea.
Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on legal and compliance issues.
Review and edit Tawzea, its subsidiaries, and affiliates’ constitutional documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations and breaches of legal guidelines and internal policies and procedures.
Revise procedures reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
Draft, modify and implement internal policies and procedures in relation to compliance aspects.
Collaborate with other appropriate departments to monitor the enforcement of standards and regulations to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations.
Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks and identify mechanisms for mitigating such risks.
Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training on compliance matters.
Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
Prepare reports for senior management on any compliance issues arising that impact Tawzea and Tawzea Group.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in the Law /Legal entity (KSA and / or Middle East experience is strongly preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable university.
Member of the Saudi Bar Association.
Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian laws and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
