An international energy and chemical company is seeking for a Public Relations Specialist to join their dynamic media relations division. A large part of the role will be around engaging with journalists, opinion leaders and influencers across regions to strengthen the effectiveness of all media engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong team player who has the ability to communicate at various levels across the business and externally.
The Role:
Building and maintaining relationships with journalist, reporters and other media outlets with the aim of securing positive media exposure.
Drafting compelling and engaging content including press releases, articles, blog posts and social media posts.
Organising and promoting events to connect with potential clients and develop relationship with existing partners.
Tracking and analysing the effectiveness of PR campaigns to make data driven decisions.
Conducting research regarding market trends and competitor analysis.
To Qualify
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience within a sizeable organisation.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
