Job Description
Primary Responsibilities • Coordinate with HR Department to Submit and ensure the processing of all types of applications and paperwork to the local government bodies including Typing center, Tasheel, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of immigration to new visa processing, visa renewals, cancellations, visa. quota. amendments, etc.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department to manage the timely renewal of all company related licenses, including Trade License, labor file card, Immigration file card etc.
• Assist employees in the process of renewing visas for their immediate dependents. • Manage the visa checklist as when the rules on visa/labor changes.
• Represent and transact with all government departments (Tasheel, Ministry of Economic, Ministry of Finance, Customs, Chamber of Commerce, MOE, Traffic Department and Municipality).
• To be trusted liaison officer for new business set-up all over UAE & responsible for all the documentation like Licenses, approvals certifications & authentication, with in the time span of management.
• Coordinate with HR Department to arranging medical test, Emirates ID application, passport/visa collection, if required. Carry out other tasks as directed by the HOD and HR Department.
• Assist employees in the process of attaining Equivalency Certificate and Police Clearance Certificate.
• When the need arises, represent the company at different offices like Airport Embassies, Police Station, Ministries/Municipalities and other government Departments.
• Inviting guests for all events and being present in all of them whether they are on any significant holidays. Secondary Responsibilities • Collect and give regular updates on all work and immigration standards from the government offices to keep the HR office well informed for any changes in procedures and rules.
• Coordinate and monitor all Government Relations activity across The Lazar Group Central Office and schools to remain abreast of status, actions needed and resolutions, and to identify areas where further corrective action / strategies are needed to continually improve and enhance process
• Ensure Central Office and school based employees are familiar with and trained on relevant Ministry of Education approvals. • Assist the office in determining any issues identified with organization vehicle registration and renewals
• Data entry where required.
• Filing & document maintenance. Skills Excellent written and oral and communication skills in both English and Arabic. Solid background on UAE Labor law most importantly on Immigration rules and regulation Be willing and able to exercise judgement and take risks
