The primary role of Project Manager is responsible include the coordination and completion of project on time within budget and scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set and agree with stakeholder for project deadline, assign resources (external) and align with internal stakeholder for resourcing. Including as well monitoring and summarize project progress. Preparing report for upper management regarding project status.

Responsibilities

Leading a team of professional and technical staff to optimize project to meet EHSS standard -guidance, scope, budget estimated and timeline.
Developing systems and measures that appropriately assess project progress, bottleneck.
Providing strategy and plan to achieve business objective through project delivery
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, report and escalate to management as needed & manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Support opportunities to increase competitive advantages and align them with the organization’s overall strategy.
Ensuring compliance with company and site-specific policies, standards, procedures, and objectives and recommend new policies or procedures, if necessary.
Overseeing annual budget preparation and management of departmental costs
Sourcing and retaining high quality project personnel in HQ and site, and ensuring that the team receives appropriate training, mentoring, knowledge transfer and performance management reviews

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any degree related to project execution area.
Project management experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
Minimum 15 years of experience in mining and mineral extraction industry related to gold and base metal extraction processes.
Ability to present to and collaborate with corporate executives and the site Senior Leadership Team required
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) required.
Requires in-depth knowledge of managing any project delivery within mining and mineral extraction industry
experience in Open Fit/Underground Mining.
