Quality Assurance Manager Jobs in Saudi Arabia
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, direction and oversight of ongoing Quality Management (QM) activities to ensure optimal clinical service and financial outcomes; and integration with medical staff activities across the assigned facility
Responsibilities:
-Ensures Quality Management and Measurement initiatives are met:
Provides leadership for Quality Measurement Priorities.
Serves as medical staff liaison for Quality Management activities across the assigned facility.
Ensures appropriate dissemination of Quality Management information regarding performance improvement activities to The Management Executive Committee and the Quality Improvement, Patient Safety Committee.
Provides orientation to multidisciplinary team members in quality management concepts, system approach, and improvement processes and assist in providing facility wide QM education
Assists in the identification of issues and areas that require improvement and assists in facilitating the improvement process.
Collaborates with designated staff within the facility to foster continuous improvement efforts of care and service.
-Ensures implementation of Risk Management initiatives.
Identifies and monitors high risk, problem prone, high cost and high volume areas.
Oversees reactive risk management of adverse events, near misses and sentinel events through credible Root Cause Analysis.
Oversees proactive risk management activities, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
Oversees all other risk management activities within the facility.
Communicates the risk management activities and their results to the staff and other relevant groups.
-Ensures implementation of Patient Safety initiatives.
Participates in developing policies and procedures related to patient safety.
Designs and analyzes data related to patient safety.
Prepares patient safety culture survey report.
Participates in patient safety rounds.
-Provides ongoing evaluation and improvement of compliance with accreditation standards.
Directs efforts toward maintaining state of readiness and compliance with standards.
Provides feedback appropriately to all care providers as related to performance issues
Assists in the process of Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) and Central Board of Accreditation for Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) or other local accreditation agencies.
Provides other necessary training and orientation to facility staff on the accreditation process.
Maintains Knowledge of JCI, CBAHI and MOH guidelines related to Quality Improvement, Utilization Management, and Risk Management.
-Plans and develops future special projects:
Plans for the future direction of quality objectives through participation in strategic planning processes.
Provides leadership in the development, prioritization, and implementation of activities to improve outcomes for all customers
-Implements directives from The Corporate Quality Management Department and provides requested reports.
-Oversees functions of the assigned medical and administrative committees.
-Facilitates development of policies and procedures for systems operations to ensure its smooth function.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical field
Diploma in quality or hospital management or equivalent
CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality)
3-5 years’ experience in the healthcare sector with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior position within a hospital environment.
Experience with Quality Management, Patient Safety and Risk Management with at least 3 years’ experience in JCI accreditation and other local accreditation agencies.
Excellent English language.
Frequent computer user, expert in MS Office application including spreadsheet.
