Our client, a dynamic government entity in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Senior Events Officer to join their team. The Senior Officer will assist in ensuring the daily logistical and operational requirements for all the events across the company are well managed.

The role:

– Coordinate, schedule and plan internal and stakeholder event requirements for the company to meet and exceed event expectations

– Manage and coordinate the event support staff including but not limited to security, logistics, hostesses, ushers and other specialists

– Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders in the requirements for event operations, including but not limited to AV, security, facilities, contracts, procurement, work orders, permits and delivery schedules

– Conduct regular standards inspections to identify and monitor project risks, ensuring quality standards are met and mitigation plans developed and actioned, as appropriate

– Ensure the appropriate and cost-effective delivery for events requirements and assists with finalizing event budget reconciliations

– Participate in event meetings, research and special projects coordination, feedback and problem solve arising challenges and requirements and issues and follows up on minutes from event specific meetings

– Provide live status and debriefs on events reports, providing analysis, feedback and recommendations to enhance future event planning

– Ensure the health and safety of staff, contractors and visitors throughout the planning and execution of events

Requirements:

– UAE National with a Family Book

– Bachelor’s in Marketing or equivalent, Master’s degree preferred

– Minimum 3-5 years in event management in tourism, entertainment or hospitality field

– Fluency in Arabic and English
