The person appointed will be part of a small team responsible for the investments and portfolio development of a Group of companies. Key aspects of the role will involve handling the full cycle of sourcing, identifying, screening, and critical appraisal of new investment opportunities including in-depth financial and investment analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and negotiation of legal agreements, partnership agreements, and other economic characteristics of an investment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another related field
An MBA, and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is highly desirable.
Experience
10 years and above working experience in a fast-paced M&A, private equity, investment banking, or other relevant experience. Candidates with private equity/ venture capital experience are preferred
Experience in leading complex M&A activities through the entire life cycle with a vast and successful track record of managing transactions, transaction valuation, and strategic transaction analyses.
Skills
Proven track record of experience in managing complex M&A transactions
Mastery in value management / valuation techniques / economics.
Demonstrable in-depth complex modeling experience.
Extensive knowledge of M&A, commercial, and Corporate Finance skills
Business Acumen.
Demonstrated ability to work with executives and build relationships at every level of the organization.
Skillful at building trust with and influencing senior-level stakeholders.
Excellent stakeholder management, people / cultural diversity management, and leadership skills.
Excellent English written & oral communication skills.
