• Helps in setting up the dining area, this includes putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and putting up a buffet
• Keeps glasses filled, remove each round of plates and answer any questions from guests
• Ensures exemplary guest service through all forms of banquet and catering service, carving stations, running food during events, buffets, plated, replenishing product and supplies in compliance with event standards.
• Ensures that events are properly equipped and executed by transporting, pulling, setting up and breaking down, as well as returning equipment to designated storages in compliance with event standards and instructions.
• Performs side work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment
• Cleans, organize and restock equipment/product returning from catering events
• Responds to simple complaints or inquiries from customers, members of the business community, and/or regulatory agencies
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
• Adheres and understands health and safety standards/policies at all times
• Perform other duties that could be assigned.
Experience & Qualification
• High school diploma with 2 to 3 years of banquet and/or fine dining experience
• Must be able to read and understand simple instructions, memos and short correspondence
Abilities & Skills:
• Has a good command of verbal and written English
• Must possess high energy level and stamina
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule
