The purpose of the job is to manage all operational functions of Human Resources through the development and implementation of SBJ policies and procedures incorporating legal and best practice, ensuring the needs of the employee and organization are met.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic business plan for HR and Administration in line with organizational goals.
Develop, innovative and cost-effective, HR policies and programs that are focused on recruiting and retaining the best employees and that encourage the development of the staff talent.
Provide organizational structure, change management and other HR interventions that enable SBJ to respond to changes in technology and work practice and achieve the most efficient deployment of staff.
Make recommendations on pay and reward that are based on external benchmarking to ensure SBJ is able to attract and retain talent.
Support SBJ board and CEO, as necessary, in addressing staff compensation, benefits and other employment issues.
Plan & schedule training requirements across the organization and deliver timely/effective training for staff development.
Manage all Omanization plans and requirements for SBJ to assure company compliance with applicable hiring targets and Oman Government employment rules and regulations.
Manage the recruitment process & selection process to ensure SBJ is able to attract and recruit the right people with the right skills at the right time.
Support Department Managers to identify and plan manpower requirements
Lead the performance evaluation process ensuring that a fair and equitable process is applied across the organization.
Oversee administrative activities that support SBJ operations including; office supplies, transportation, stores and warehouses, company vehicles and reception area.
Conduct exit interviews and utilize the information to identify reasons for employee termination and make recommendations for improvement and retention.
Supervise and monitor governmental issues related to employees, company and offices.
Set and agree individual goals for all direct reports and evaluate individual performance providing regular feedback and coaching in line with good people management practices.
Regular review and update with best practices and change in regulations the corporate HR manual.
Ensure compliance by all staff with the corporate HR policies and initiate action to make the implementation successful.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
Nurture a positive working environment.
Managing HR budgets.
Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Business Management/Administration or a relevant field.
Master degree in Business Administration or HR is preferred.
Knowledge & Experience:

6-8 years in a HR Manager’s role.
Good knowledge in:
