Experience and Qualifications :
• Gym lover! Happy to train others and willing to drive its own business unit.
• Fluent in Arabic, conversational/business English.
• A stablished database of clients in the city of Jeddah.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Creativity and commercial awareness.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills
. • Bachelor’s degree in related field required (nice to have, not a must)
• Graduates with qualifications in sports science, recreation or leisure studies, health management, physiology, life sciences, business or management.

Responsibilities
Maximizing Revenue & Managing Profitability
• Identifies, qualifies and solicits new gym business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals.
• Understands the overall market – competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
• Maximizes revenue by up-selling packages and creative offerings.
• Identifies and implements process improvements and best practices to gain new members Managing Gym Sales Activities
• Manages the sales efforts for the hotel gym
. • Responds to incoming gym opportunities for the hotel. Fitness/Wellness
• Provide advice to individuals on the correct method of exercising with fitness equipment, including weightlifting equipment, exercise bikes, jogging treadmills, and other training and exercising apparatus.
• Assess individual’s current exercise program, level of fitness, etc. to develop personalized exercise programs and provide fitness counseling.
• Make sure guests sign in upon entering the fitness center. Recreation and Fitness Area Maintenance
• Wipe down fitness center machines and remove towels, trash, and debris from fitness center area. • Call Maintenance or an outside service company if machines require service in order to maintain properly functioning fitness equipment. Recreation Facilities Safety
• Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately/in accordance with local operating procedure in the event of an emergency.
• Assist injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Complete any certifications/training required by law or manufacturer to instruct guests/clients on the use of equipment.
Guest Relations
Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest’s name when possible.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
• Assist individuals with disabilities, including assisting visually, hearing, or physically impaired individuals within guidelines.
• Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.
• Anticipate guests’ service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
• Address guests’ service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
