East West for Real Estate Development is a special purpose vehicle set up by leading Saudi real estate group Asyad along with Lamar Holding and the Wisayah Investment Company. The scope of work includes development of residential buildings, life support and recreational facilities and full utility services over a 770,000-sq-m area. Construction is scheduled to be completed by the second quarter of 2024.This approach confirms Aramco’s interest in working with key public and private partnership developers, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Project Preview
The Project involves the construction of six (6) New Residential Compounds for Saudi Aramco to accommodate approximately 1,748 Employees and Contractors working on Pump Stations 1, 3, 5,
6, and 10 and Pressure Reduction Station 1 in the East West Pipelines Corridor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Job Description:
Technical Manager:
Capable of managing and leading a big multi-discipline engineering team.
Familiar with project work sequence, activities, and deliverables for engineering disciplines at any project phase, as well as contract knowledge and understanding.
Create and sign critical papers, such as those directing engineering strategy and implementation.
Capable of understanding and managing technical scope in accordance with client and management processes.
Ensure that instructions are delivered to allow work to advance and to encourage agreement between competing needs and paths forward.
Challenge working methods and deliverables and ensure that the project team understands and adheres to the project scope.
Develop and manage engineering contribution to the project schedule, as well as driving the engineering team to accomplish objectives, milestones, and key performance indicators.
Understands and ensures that the project’s Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) problems are handled effectively.
Identifies hazards/risks and applies risk mitigation measures.
Estimates and execution strategies for various disciplines are developed competently during the design stage.
Develop estimates and execution methods for many disciplines throughout the design stage.
Must be familiar with SBC, IBC, and SA Aramco standards.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
Overall 10+ years of residential/infrastructure project experience
Experience from Aramco or GCC region projects will be preferred.
Commercially astute and knowledgeable about lump sum project management methods.
