Copywriter Jobs in UAE
The Copywriter is responsible for proactively seeking out news features and exciting stories from across all areas of the business and translating these stories into engaging and relevant content. Responsible for ensuring these stories are published across our various platforms including social media, websites, internal news site, along with in-store at our retail outlets with supporting striking imagery.
To be able to fulfil the role the successful candidate must be capable of managing all of our communication content and demonstrate confidence in dealing with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to define messaging, secure collateral and gather feedback. Most important of all, the successful candidate needs to have a desire to be part of – and contribute to – the growth of our business
Role responsibility:
Create a structuredcontent calendar and plan and source content accordingly – in line with our corporate identity and design guidelines
Ensure our Tone of Voice is up to date, accurate and aligns with the marketing strategy
Ensure Content is relevant for distribution amongst local and global media.
Develop a specific marketing news section on our internal site
Remain up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices relating to content production and news/feature writing
Coordinate with our in-house creative team to design content output, and to plan and edit A/V shoots
Travel to our various sites to source and record various forms of content
Working with the Social Media Manager, add tangible value to social media campaigns to drive our brand
Create interesting interviews and blog content with key influencers, experts and stakeholders across our industry
Support the team in the development and execution of events and exhibitions
Core competencies:
A minimum of 3-4 years experience producing engaging editorial ideally within a similar industry
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and spoken English language skills, with impeccable grammar and punctuation
Proficient researcher, with a passion for creating outstanding content
Experience of conducting and tracking email Marketing campaigns with MailChimp and/or similar web-based platforms
Sound knowledge and practical experience of using Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and LinkedIn
Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Technical design and digital competencies; working knowledge of Magento and WordPress as standard
