Mechanical and Hydraulic experience, knowledge in terminal equipment’s repairs and maintenance, PC knowledge with regular Office software, self-driven, independent working, team minded. English fluently in writing and verbally.
Responsibilities:
Assist to manage the workshop ground activities and delegates the jobs for his team of supervisors and technicians, advise and assist to technicians. Check on major works and works closely with supervisors.
To ensure the equipment is maintained and repaired in a professional manner in all respects and apply the Engineering policy according to the department procedure. The candidate will be the authorized contact person within the service center for breakdown repairs and should keep updating Project manager for all contact activity for the repair process.
To ensure the required stock level of spare parts and materials will be maintained, in order to provide the highest possible operational readiness of the equipment to the operation.
Should issue the required observation and make sure proper diagnoses done for the equipment’s fleets also action reports and recommendations the departments manager.
This person should be able to diagnose problems, identify required actions, provide possible recommendations and should conduct the required observations by himself or his team. Besides this, he should have some Management skills in order to cooperate with the local Purchaser and to assist to manage the entire workshop in all respects in coordination with the Project Manager, he reports to.
Competencies and Experiences:
Certified Mechanical Engineering.
Certified in English should be able to communicate in English, verbally and in writing. Other communication skills would be an advantage.
Should be experienced as a team leader of a multi-national team with long years – at least 5 years skills in Mechanics, Hydraulics, automotive engineering – regular passenger cars up to heavy handling vehicles and, besides this, some knowledge in DC electrics.
HSE experience, knowledge in Vehicle and Traffic and ports safety rules, PC knowledge with regular Office software, self-driven, independent working, team minded. English fluently in writing and verbally.
Should be experienced as a team leader of a multi-national team with long years – at least 5 years – skills in Mechanics, Hydraulics, automotive engineering – regular passenger cars up to heavy handling vehicles and, besides this, some knowledge in DC electrics.
With 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment’s and trucks repair.
