Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with EHS company policy.
Safety inspection on regular basis for premises, equipment, and workers included the facility fire alarm and firefighting system.
Maintain the first aid boxes in whole facility.
Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations.
Ordering repairs for unsafe and/or damaged equipment.
Participating in continuing education to update knowledge of health and safety protocols and techniques.
Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with EHS management to create consistency in safety standards throughout the facility team and the entire company.
Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site & ensuring CAPA.
Liaising with law enforcement and other investigators who are present at the time of a serious accident.
Reviewing and reporting on the staff’s compliance with health and safety rules and recommending commendations or dismissal based on performance.
Initiate and follow up with the competent authorities to get the required safety certifications.
To ensure the availability of Personal Protective Equipment and safety signs (Caution signs)
To ensure that the hazardous in the facility handled as per approved procedure.
To ensure all hazard materials have Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
Identify the hazard assessment and risk assessment and risk reduction in the facility.
To handling the pest control activities.
Preparation & revision of SOPs and policies related to EHS.
Initiation of QMS related activities as deviation, RCA, DCCs, SCCs, CAPAs.
Responsible for handling and disposal of all kinds of waste.
To perform any other task assigned by the Direct Manager
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science: Occupational Safety and Health.
Bachelor of Science : Health and Safety Management
Bachelor of Science :Environmental Health and Safety
Or any related education.
