To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferably in Sales & Marketing with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Sales/Business Development in Middle East preferably from Last Mile / Logistics companies.

In addition, you should have the following job specific skills:

Ability to acquire new business through a combination of being on the field, as well as cold calling and being active on social media.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Creative and innovative with ability to propose new ideas.
Ability to engage, inspire and influence people.
Ability to work well in a fast paced startup environment.
Strong and polished professional communication skills and negotiating abilities.
Excellent presentation and communication skills (written & oral).
Ability to communicate in Arabic (Written and Verbal) would be an added advantage.
Valid Qatar Driving License

Major responsibilities:

Primary role will be to sell Shyft’s pick up & delivery service, the scope will widen as the company diversifies its services.
Promote the sales of Shyft services and successfully execute the approved strategies required to achieve Shyft’s financial targets.
Sell product/service by establishing contacts and developing relationships with potential and current clients.
Build and maintain a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship with the customers thereby ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided.
Generate sales reports and ensure that all the market information and opportunity are given to management with recommendations.
Job will involve close coordination with Operations, Marketing & Product Development Team.
Will need to own and deliver assigned sales targets and be able to effectively use the CRM application to manage, maintain and grow the customer base.
Will need to possess analytical thinking to be able to create and present reports, weekly updates and market intelligence to the line manager.
