Job Purpose:
• Candidate must have worked in a leadership/senior role for a minimum of 1 year
•Candidate must be well experienced in negotiating the best contract/deal/price from intermediate and direct suppliers of hotels, airlines, etc
•Candidate must have a clear road map, tasks, and goals for managing the growth of the online travel company
•To sell Airline tickets, and travel-related products and give travel-related information.
•Proactively service our customers via various channels, supporting them with queries, amendments, proactive disruption Management, and travel bookings.
•Candidate must have a good network of his b2b clients, vendors, suppliers, etc., especially across EMEA and Asian countries.
• Convert the maximum number of inquiries into sales through efficient and friendly customer service.
Qualification:
Standard fares and ticketing certificate from IATA or equivalent.
Knowledge/Skills:
• Experience in Reservations/Ticketing/ Travel & Tourism/Leisure/MICE.
• Strong Knowledge of global distribution system (GDS) in specific Sabre, amadeus & Galileo
• Knowledge of world geography and major carrier networks to facilitate quick itinerary planning.
• Interpersonal ability, telephone and customer service skills.
• A confident communicator with proven persuasive and influencing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and understands the impact of errors on the business and customer.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office applications i.e. word and excel.
• Strong verbal and written English is a must. Spoken Arabic or any other foreign language would be an advantage.
Languages:
• Strong verbal and written English is mandatory.
