Job Role – POS Inventory Custodian
Department Operations – POS Technical Support Role Purpose
Job Location – Dubai/Abu Dhabi
The overall objective of the job is to organize and assist for POS stock maintenance, a proper inventory control for in-house / out bound terminal devices. Terminals accessories control.
Key Responsibilities
• Updating In- house & out bound POS stock movement through Inventory Management System / other inventory tracker sheets / (excel sheets)
• Updating POS stock / (other shared tracker sheets) for Dubai, northern emirates, Abu Dhabi & Al Ain POS Installations and replacement requirements. Arranging packing of these devices and to arrange their courier / (shipping) with proper airway bill / (acknowledgements) other tracking to ensure the subject shipment reaches properly / promptly to the respective destination.
• Inventory Management system is maintained for all inbound / outbound stock movements i.e. for new as well as existing stock movements / fresh orders etc, make sure a proper recording of company’s assets and inventory system is updated / maintained on a daily basis
• Allocating SIM cards for GPRS terminals and maintaining SIM card inventory records, this is performed for daily Installations, replacements and other technical issues requirements, we have 2 ISP’s facilitating these requirements (DU & ETISALAT) staff has to ensure a proper balance in allocating SIM cards, i.e. based on location, stock availability, area coverage / communication disturbance (if any) etc.
• Assist for Preparing Monthly MIS / merchant reports for business team. Organize and maintain POS stock as per business requirements, inform POS manager if POS stock is low and required necessary action / POS replenishment at any point.
Knowledge/Skills:
• Knowledge of Acquiring Business products, Know-how of Inventory Management System.
• Analytical skills / technical knowledge of POS products.
• A team player/ ability to think out of box and demonstrate multi-tasking capabilities.
• Positive thinking and confidence in achieving targets.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
