Background:
A ground handling entity are moving from SAP to EPG ground handling mostly focused on commercial activities and customer experience (collection, payment, procurement etc.)
This is one of their most critical initiatives as part of a bigger portfolio
They need an implementation consultant for 1 year full time in Saudi (and potentially extendable)
Role Description
This is a contract on-site role for an Implementation Consultant located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with software and project implementation. This includes working with clients to understand their challenges and building tailored solutions that address them. The Implementation Consultant will also need to communicate effectively with clients and within the team. He will be part of a small team supporting him and also EPG consultants will be on the ground to support him/her
Qualifications
Strong Experience in Systems migration and integration because there will be many systems in place that need to be integrated and aligned
Experience in salesforce functionalities
Experience in ground handling and/or logistics is a big plus
Project management skills are a must
Ability to work effectively in a team and on own initiative since he/she will have a small team supporting him/her on the project but most importantly the business owners and other involved stakeholders will provide all the business inputs needed for the implementation consultant to do his/her job properly
Experience in management consulting is a plus
Experience in the Middle East and North Africa region is a plus
Bilingual is a plus but an English only speaker is ok
SCOPE OF WORK
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Implementation Consultant to join our team! As an Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of the ongoing initiatives for our company, including all phases of the project lifecycle.
Implementation Consultant Responsibilities:
• Conducting assessments of project capacities and timelines.
• Performing implementation planning and setup activities for projects.
• Developing sound business practices and procedures for the project.
• Directing team members as needed to ensure successful project implementation.
• Liaising with management and stakeholders on project details and deadlines.
• Training and onboarding new team members as required.
• Providing project-related insight and advice to other team members.
• Identifying, reporting, and resolving key project issues.
• Overseeing the daily business operations.
• Presenting feedback and suggestions relating to the implementation of assigned projects.
• Evaluates and coordinates all required changes or implementation activities of a project, including documentation, integration and support activities.
• Managing implementation activities, including time commitment, budget and risk management
• Develop all related process & procedure manuals within the commercial department. Evaluating and recommending changes to the project management processes
• Providing support to the project team ensuring all project documentation is current and up-to-date
• Providing timely feedback to the project stakeholders.
• Communicating with all parties involved in the implementation process.
• Identify and prioritize work processes, systems, and applications
• Providing continuous coaching and feedback to team members
• Manage and implement area processes based on best practices
• Develop documentation and guidance
