Job Title: MRP Controller (Material Re-order Planner)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Material Procurement Experience:
• Utilize in-depth material procurement experience to optimize the end-to-end supply chain for Modular Building Services projects.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
2. Material Re-order Planning:
• Develop and execute material re-order plans based on project requirements, store stocks, historical consumption data, and lead times.
• Implement strategies to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
3. MRP Procurement Process Management:
• Manage the entire MRP procurement process, from demand planning to order fulfillment, to ensure seamless material availability.
• Coordinate with project managers, inventory controllers, and suppliers to align procurement plans with project timelines.
4. Communication Skills:
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to convey material requirements and project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement plans and project goals.
5. Supplier Relationship Management:
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sources of materials.
• Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and address any issues related to the procurement process.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all MRP transactions, including re-orders, order fulfillments, and adjustments.
• Generate regular reports for management review, providing insights into material availability and procurement efficiency.
7. Continuous Improvement:
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the MRP procurement process.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in supply chain and procurement technologies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in material re-order planning and procurement, with a focus on Modular Building Services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven expertise in managing the MRP procurement process for end-to-end supply of materials.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with modular building construction processes is a plus.
