Job Description:
Develop Data strategy, Data management policies and procedures, DM KPIs , DM workflows that are aligned with NDMO and drive data monetization.
Design & implement the data governance framework and operating model and roles and responsibilities, data governance process workflows.
Conduct requirement gathering, business analysis, and any data architecture activities with the data governance.
Participate in / lead the data maturity assessment sessions and gap analysis. – Participate in alignment with EA teams and data strategy across the organization.
Coordinate with the project teams and others to ensure that data standards and models align with the overall enterprise architecture and applicable standards.
Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and data quality, develop related processes and procedures, and establish a common understanding and visibility of all agency data assets.
Develop a strong working relationship with the appropriate business users and provide business-impact-driven analysis and communicate results to stakeholders.
Work across client control functions, internal audit, and business lines to support the implementation of Data Policies, Standards and Processes that are required as part of the Data Governance Framework (e.g., Data Ownership, Control Identification, Metrics, Issues)
Recommend, design and develop data driven analysis using statistical & advanced analytics methodologies to solve business problems.
Interview clients, gather and document business requirements.
Conduct current state/future state gap analysis for individual business areas and develop Target Operating Models, including Business and Technical Architecture
Support and prepare materials for key Steering Group and Working Group meetings including program/issue status updates and implementation planning.
Create visually pleasing, client ready presentations and project status updates using Microsoft PowerPoint
Qualifications
At least 6+ years of work experience of relevant consultancy experience
Strong understanding of the data lifecycle
Hands-on experience with Data Governance activities:
Defining, implementing, and operating a data governance bodies, including typical data governance policies, processes, and standards.
Creating data governance operating models and charters
Defining and implementing data governance key performance indicators
Operating data governance bodies
Ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups to get buy-in on, develop, and implement data management standards, policies, and best practices.
Experience developing data governance policies and procedures.
