The Data Scientist’s primary role is to work collaboratively with team members to develop and deploy state-of-the-art AI models.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Collecting, annotating, pre-processing, and augmenting large datasets, executing exploratory data analysis, assessing data quality, and data maintenance.
Developing robust machine learning and deep learning models, performing rigorous and systematic evaluation and deployment of the models and their pipelines using a variety of technologies. Use MLOPs tools and concepts to monitor and optimize developed models.
Develop CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and development of machine learning models.
Research and propose modelling solutions to solve business problems.
Application of best practices in software engineering across the development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, collaborative source management, automated testing, and documentation.
Apply Knowledge of statistics in data sampling techniques to ensure that training and test data is representative of the business problem and ensure that they are diverse and unbiased.
Conduct day to day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Establish working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders.
Collect feedback from internal stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements.
Contribute to the preparation of progress reports directed to all relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of progress.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a data scientist or data analyst, or Ph.D. experience in data science.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or related field.
Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics. PhD is a plus.
