As a Massage Therapist, you are responsible for recommending and applying body conditioning treatments and massages to Guests or leisure club members.
Responsibilities
Massage the body, using techniques such as kneading, rubbing and stroking to stimulate blood circulation, relax contracted muscles or relieve other conditions
Administer steam or dry heat, ultraviolet, infrared or water treatments on request of the customer
Provide directions to clients in activities such as reducing or remedial exercises
Record treatments furnished to customers
Ensure that treatment rooms are tidy and all available items, e.g. towels, candles, oils, etc.
Aware of how to make reservations for massage and other treatment packages
Professionally perform duties to the total satisfaction of the Guests
Understand the club facilities and the price of memberships
Observe high standards of personal hygiene
Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
Qualifications
Diploma in Massage Therapy
3-5 years of experience in the same fields.
