As a Senior Interior Designer at XIT Interior Design | Fit-out, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing various interior design projects. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders to deliver stunning and functional spaces that exceed expectations. Your creative vision and attention to detail will drive the design process from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

Design and prepare design concept and plans for commercial projects.
Continuously meet with clients at all stages of the project’s design, explaining ideas and designs to clients and obtaining their approval for each phase.
Prepare the design concept board for projects.
Maintain continuous communication with clients and hold regular meetings, providing periodic project updates.
Communicate with suppliers, build strong relationships, select and specify materials for designs, and ensure the availability of the required quantities within the specified timeframes for supply or manufacturing.
Adhere to the set schedule provided by the department manager and oversee the team to complete tasks within their designated timeframes.
Report any challenges, modifications, or issues that may arise during the project’s design phases to the department manager.
Prepare clear design concept schedules and get them approved by the client before presenting them to the 3D designer, along with all the necessary data needed to begin implementing the ideas.
Monitor and supervise requests and orders from the department manager.
Coordinate between the design department and other departments based on established work plans.
Provide feedback and make modifications to designs as needed, following client feedback, and collect client requests and feedback using a client design style questionnaire.
Monitor the 3D designer’s progress and supervise their work stages to ensure alignment with the proposed design concepts, addressing issues and obstacles promptly.
Offer design solutions and choose alternative materials if the initial 3D design does not align with the design concepts.
Prepare tracking schedules and update the status of each project stage and its completion dates through the weekly Design Department Report template.
Coordinate with the purchasing department to acquire and provide any new or required samples or materials for design purposes.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of experience in the field of interior design and project management, having completed at least 50 commercial projects.
Bachelor’s degree in interior design.
Ability to create innovative and exceptional design concepts.
Strong communication and meeting management skills, including interacting with clients.
Persuasion skills.
Proficiency in required interior design software.
Experience with Microsoft software and the ability to prepare schedules and reports.
Ability to provide design and Fit-out solutions for interior design projects.
Good knowledge of materials used in finishing and design.
Proficiency in detailed schematics and their preparation.
Proficiency in English.
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability to monitor project progress, analyze risks, and provide immediate solutions.
Honesty and integrity.
Ability to work extra hours.
Ability to generate and explain design ideas.
Proficiency in modern design software to expedite project completion.
Proficiency in Photoshop.
Proficiency in creating 3D models of projects and render images using 3D Max & Vray software.
Ability and knowledge to create comprehensive engineering plans using AutoCAD.
