PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Senior Marketing Coordinator, will play a key role in supporting the marketing team in the lead up, during and the wrap up of one of the largest sporting events in the region. Supporting the existing marketing team, the Senior Marketing Coordinator will liaise with agencies, handle all aspects of administration tasks, coordinating communications, and collaborate with the account management and social media teams. The successful candidate for the role will be a self-starter that can keep things moving to agreed deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supporting the marketing team on co-ordination of campaign requirements
Working with agencies to manage content capture pre/during event
Supporting social media department management during events
Managing the co-ordination of artwork/branding requirements between the business and the creative team
Supporting the marketing team with administrative roles
Ability to coordinate based on an approved plan within time scales
Work collaboratively across all marketing and communication activity, including account management, social media support, and project coordination.
Support ad hoc special projects and/or assignments as directed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications
Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in a marketing or events related role
Strong project management skills with an ability to simultaneously coordinate on multiple tasks, whilst keeping focus on timelines and deadlines associated with each task
A strong communicator, able to interface with a variety of audiences, both internal and external
Outstanding organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
High command in English, Arabic a bonus
