We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Corporate Tax Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to provide expert advice on corporate tax planning, compliance, and strategy.
Job Description:
Developing close relationships with a diverse range of clients and working collaboratively with the team to deliver the corporate tax services such as corporate tax advisory, tax planning and assessment, offering direction and recommendations.
Conducting research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and risks.
Managing a client portfolio, dealing with their corporate tax requirements, updates, and other corporate tax related matters.
Developing tax strategies and assisting clients with implementing tax planning initiatives
Staying up to date on changes to tax laws and regulations and advising clients on how these changes may impact their business.
Professional skills:
Possess good technical and report writing abilities, as well as the ability to interpret tax laws and evaluate contracts from a tax perspective.
With extensive knowledge of tax reporting, tax accounting, and/or auditing.
Must be able to work simultaneously on many client teams and possess good analytical abilities, commercial awareness, and a flexible attitude.
Understands the tax legislation, compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualification and Experience:
Qualification Required: A bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials in Accounting, Finance, Law, Taxation, or a related field.
An advanced degree such as MBA, Masters, LLM, or relevant professional qualifications like CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or any equivalent certification would be considered.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate tax consulting, preferably in a large professional services firm or a similar work environment.
