• Prospect new potential clients and maintain existing customer’s relationship within the commercial FM industry
• Generate project/business opportunities and RFP’s through customer contact to meet company’s business plans and growth strategies.
• Drive the sales process from inquiry/RFP coordination through “Closing the Deal”
• Collaborate with the Senior Management to prepare and implement the company’s Marketing and Business Development Plan and strategy for meeting business goals
• Track and report current status of potential projects, markets, Customer news, and developments
• Lead the development and preparation of RFP’s, Pre-Qualification, formal presentations
• Ensure all communication with customers are in accordance with our standards and correct in content and format
• Negotiate potential contract adaptations or extensions when needed
• Liaise internally with other departments such as Commercial, Operation, Finance, Human Resources
• Act as a resource person for management with respect to sales and marketing issues
• Assess the targeted quality of business
• Responsible for selling Soft & Hard Service Contracts to new clients and upgrading the contract value of the existing clients by offering more services and retrofit jobs.
• Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
• Responsible for structuring and negotiating business and technical terms to close deals with strategic partners
• Prepared and finalized sales tools and business operating procedures like Brochure, Flyers, Survey Process & other tools for enhancing sales and minimizing operating cost.
• Delivering effective communication with members of sales/marketing/service team to maximize all sales potential and provide training on lead generations, follow ups and order closing.
• Responsible in getting new maintenance contracts and secure existing contracts.
• Responsible for identifying and managing sales opportunities.
• Managing the sales process to a successful conclusion.
• Provide leadership and training to the Sales team.
Work with Marketing to ensure consistent lead generation.
Work with sales leadership to generate ideas for sales contests and motivational initiatives.
Lead and schedule weekly and/or monthly team meetings with sales team and leadership.
Implement performance plans according to company procedure.
Meet pre-determined revenue goals through the activities of direct reports.
Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications.
Train and ensure adherence to sales process.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree – business and marketing majors preferred.
Three to five years in a sales representative role within FM, O&M industry preferred.
One year of prior management experience or demonstrated willingness and ability to learn management basics.
Strong intrapersonal skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
Hardworking, persistent, and dependable.
Positive and enthusiastic.
