Reporting to the Port Manager, the role is to perform and direct all operational functions, bookings and management in relation to ships port calls as direct by the principal and in accordance with government legislation and regulations .
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and principal requirements
Processing clearances of all vessels.
Performing all arrangements regarding vessels in coordination with main office and vessel/principal requirements
Establish and maintain relationships with principals, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities and service providers
Performing accurate and timely database management
Providing the port and head office management with update information on local rules and regulations, changes in port charges, and related requirements
Coordinating and managing vessels movements, goods & services
Preparation of SOF, OBL and other relevant shipping documents
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in shipping operations / Agency in UAE
Handing Vessel operations and coordination with relevant port authorities
Experience in Administration, Customer service
Fluent in English – both written and spoken
Ability to work towards a deadline
A level of computer literacy
Driving License mandatory
