Data Engineer is required by a leading Multinational IT Vendor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a contract engagement with possible extensions. The successful candidate will be required to join the current project team centred around Big Data.
The following skills and experience are required:
Understanding of key DWH & ETL concepts
Experience with popular database (MYSQL, Postgres, Oracle etc.) systems, operations and management
Experience building ETL pipelines (Apache Nifi preferred); data curation, cleansing, quality, masking and tokenization
Operational experience managing DB schemas and logical models
Experience with data API design, development and Java programming are preferred
Experience with creating data marts, calculating KPI’s and dimensions preferred
Knowledge of popular BI tools (Metabase preferred) and experience creating reports/dashboards
