Job Description:
1. The BCM Manager will be key focal point for implementing, maintaining, monitoring and reviewing the overall BCM Program.
2. Lead the development and implementation of BCM documentation as per the regulatory requirements and ISO 22301 standards.
3. Successful lead and implement BCMS in the organization as per the directions from Business Continuity Management Steering Committee.
4. Coordinate all aspects of BCM planning ahead of an operational disruption and recovery execution following a disruption.
5. Consult with established BCM Team in order to provide expertise in continuity planning methodology, resiliency and recovery solutions and recovery execution processes
6. Lead the development, update and maintenance of regular BIA and RA exercises as necessary.
7. Draft and exercising and testing plan which must be approved by division heads; after each exercising and testing, BCM Manager must prepare and lead Exercising and Testing including drafting Testing Report.
8. Document the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) drill learning points and ensure they are addressed in the next BCP drill.
9. Support all internal and external audit exercises and ensure non conformities are addressed as per the agreed implementation timelines.
10. Maintaining physical custody of all BCM documents including BCM Policies, Charters, procedures, plans, reports, assessments, audit reports and ensuring that all BCM Stakeholders receive these BCM documents as and when required.
11.Conduct BCM training sessions with BCM Champions and ensure that BCM awareness program is given to all staff which meet minimum standards as per regulatory requirements and ISO BCM standards.
IT Disaster Recovery Roles and Responsibility:
12. Draft, coordinate, monitor, test and setup all IT related aspects with client, internal staff and external vendor. The IT Disaster Recovery Team has a role during disaster as well as normalcy; the major responsibilities include:
13. Ensuring the maintenance of Disaster Recovery Sites.
14. Comply with all IT requirements mentioned in all applicable regulatory/ compliance (Tadawul, CMA etc.) requirements that are related to BCM.
15. Coordinating the DR training activities.
16. Providing periodic status updates to BCM Steering Committee and BCM Manager during the course of Disaster Recovery site recovery.
17. Draft DR Plan and send to BCM Steering Committee for sign-off
18. Ensuring DR Test schedule is communicated with BCM Steering Committee and concerned stakeholders for sign-off.
19. Ensuring testing of the disaster recovery plan is done as scheduled and test report is shared with the BCM Steering Committee and concerned stakeholders for sign-off.
20. Ensuring that DR activities are conducted in line with regulatory expectations including Tadawul and CMA requirements
21. Aligning with BCM Steering Committee on annual DR tests for critical assets and critical infrastructure.
22. Handle all IT corrective actions as an outcome of BCM test.
