Job Title : Business Development Manager

Job Location : Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

Understand the strategic objectives of the organization to prepare the business development plan aligned with the business strategy aimed at business & revenue growth. Submits it to GM-Contracting BU for final review and approval.
Presents the business plan along with ROI analysis, risk analysis, budget, forecast sales revenues, potential benefits to the organization.
Leads research into new and established markets to develop service strategies that meet market demands which are consistent with the company strategy.
Sets goals for the team and develops strategies to meet those goals.

Business Development

Monitors, reviews, and approves the business development proposals, quotes and presentations for prospective clients.
Monitors and providence guidance to team in managing the entire Business Development life cycle from lead generation and lead management, prospecting accounts, negotiates client pricing and moves them through sales cycle for target markets within KSA and leads international business leads.
Provide insights to management that will complement the organization’s existing portfolio of services/offerings.
Presents powerful, persuasive presentations to clients that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of organization’s brand, services and expands organization’s footprint by generating better sales.
Identifies and explores the avenues for partnership with potential companies/suppliers for new business development. Plans and implements new target market initiatives.
Possess a strong knowledge of market trends including client and competitor activity and industry innovations.
Caters to the other subsidiaries as per agreed guidelines and policies.

Building Relationships

Attending industry events and conferences to gain information on market trends and competitors, develop network of contacts, maintain substantial pipeline, and build effective relationships in the marketplace to generate opportunities for new business.
Collaborate with legal team to prepare the business development agreements with favorable terms that protect the interests of the organization.
Maintain effective relationships with partners and ensure profitable business continuity.

Research & Recommendations

Build an effective research project management process to track progress and effectiveness of market research.
Oversees, scrutinizes, and provides suggestions for primary and secondary research including competitive analysis, etc.
Provides compelling recommendations on the basis of research to management for maximizing profits.

Educational Qualifications And Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Construction / Contracting industry.
