Business Development Manager Auditing Accounting & Taxation
JOB PURPOSE: Broad functional exposure to areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning. Develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and setting Sales targets. Specific responsibilities include business and market development, market research and planning.
· Support the development of the annual sales plan and strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve system and goals.
· Provides leadership, direction and management of the market acquisition function.
· Oversees and provides direction to market and competitor analysis.
· Ensures all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
· Provides marketing skills and expertise to the Company by building, developing and managing sales tools for the sales team in order to make them capable of carrying out the necessary marketing strategies and tactics
· Create new business opportunities
· Keep prospective client database updated
· Make cold calls for new business leads
· Support in writing new business proposals
· Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
· Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
· Follow company guidelines and procedures for the acquisition of customers, submission of tenders etc.
· Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
· Promote the company’s products / services addressing or predicting the client’s objectives
· Foster and develop relationships with customers / clients
· Cross-selling of different services with existing clients.
· Understanding Clientele requirements and able to respond effectively on satisfactory context and assistance
· Networking and References through seminars, conferences and events
· Train executives to improve sales goals and meet expectations.
· Research the latest in the business industry and create new opportunities to expand the business.
SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL QALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent communication skills and writing proficiency in English.
· Good Computer literacy and IT skills.
· Good leadership skills.
· Minimum 4years of experience in sales & marketing function preferably in accounting & auditing industry.
· Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
· Technical skills required to create proposal and find solutions to meet client requirement.
· Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful environment.
