Albawani
We are looking for a BIM Lead Structural Engineer at Albawani with more than 14 Yrs of Experience in our Riyadh Office. The position may involve traveling.
Responsibilities:
· Follow daily and weekly meetings and report back to Head with conclusion and status to determine acting plan and further corrective actions required.
· Perusing work performance of structural team and compliance with project requirements
· Discuss thoroughly all the progress of the project with the Head of Department and raise reports as required.
· Study and apply principles, standards, codes and proper practice.
· Assign knowledgeable Engineers under his team to handle a project.
· Supervise, evaluate and manage all the Engineer / Draftsman under his team.
· Attend meetings with the Consultant and Client to assist senior engineers to solve technical and construction issues.
· Keep in sight of all project and coordinate to all disciplines of the project.
· Monitors the quality of all the drawings based on the Al Bawani Drafting Guidelines & Shop Drawing Checklist.
· Designate work assignments/ tasks for project technical team and follow actions and result to achieve objectives and evaluate product and team performances.
· Lead and provide technical support to his team to solve all technical issues.
· Review and Reply all the letters from the Client and Consultant and assist Dept. Head to prepare draft letters and recommendation reports.
· Strong personality and command to Lead technical team with high skill in communication performance with project representatives / stakeholders with strong base of knowledge and understanding the contract and risk management to preserve company rights.
· Making sure that the quality of all the technical submittals (shop drawings, Materials, etc..) is based on the Al Bawani Drafting Guidelines & Shop Drawing Checklist.
· Having a good knowledge for technical coordination between all the project parties.
· Prepare reports, designs, Calculations as per codes & standards and review shop drawings.
· Review Design reports, Models, Calculations and drawings and prepare comments and findings report for any deficiencies, and propose practical solutions to facilitate construction works and finalize design issues with project designer before shop drawings stage.
· Following up the Consultant’s approvals and sharing with him any workshops and technical discussion and Meetings along with any third party or specialist till completion of engineering works.
· Study and apply all of the principles, standards, codes and proper practice.
· Review all documents which are connected to the project.
· Supervise all Sr. Structural Engineers & Structural Engineers & Sr. Draftsmen & Draftsmen under his team.
· Performs well-defined field engineering assignments primarily involving the observation of work in progress. Maintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work within their discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards.
· Establishes and maintains liaison with the discipline design engineering staff.
· Reviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the work.
· Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline; coordinates application of solutions.
· Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
