The ideal candidate will be comfortable with creating an engineering plan for land development based on their calculations and any research conducted. They should have experience with AutoCAD and be able to utilize strong design skills in order to create visual aids. By utilizing strong organizational and communication skills, this candidate will also have the ability to execute a project based on the criteria outlined. Consultancy office experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Design structures, such as buildings.
Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence
Follow construction safety guidelines
Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications
Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise construction workers
Prepare and allocate budgets
Track and report on project progress
Collaborate with contractors and project managers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
5-10 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting
Experience with AutoCAD, SAB and E-Tabs
Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
Knowledge of local authorities requirement.
Knowledge of Saudi Building Code.
