Business intelligence (BI) Senior Consultant would be responsible for a lot of engagements of the business intelligence function that our consulting firm provides to the clients. He would work with clients in various sectors to identify, collect, understand, and analyze their policies, procedures, and processes to make better business decisions. He would also be responsible for developing and maintaining reporting and dashboards to track key performance indicators, generate reports and other visualizations that inform business strategy.

A business intelligence Senior Consultant works individually or with teams to deliver risk services which includes but not limited to:

•        Work in projects such as: business process improvement, enterprise risk management, corporate restructuring, development of policies and procedures, etc…

•        Perform in-depth analysis of business processes, risks and controls

•        Redesign business process for improvement

•        Produce quality client deliverables (analysis, reports or presentations)

•        Report and work closely with senior management for the purpose of engagement risk management and quality control

·        Advocating for business intelligence solutions that will help the clients meet its goals

·        Coordinating with technology vendors to ensure that new systems are compatible with existing processes.

·        Analyzing data to identify patterns or trends that could indicate problems within the business

·        Working with senior management to develop goals, objectives, and strategies for improving business performance using BI tools

·        Recommending changes to existing business intelligence processes or policies to improve efficiency

·        Developing reports that monitor key business metrics such as customer satisfaction levels or inventory levels

·        Working with vendors to implement new systems or tools as needed

·        Monitoring industry trends to identify upcoming challenges or opportunities for the clients.

·        Design, develop and execute new data analysis policies & procedures

·        Create different visualizations models to identify risk and opportunities in accordance with business context.

·        Initiate and lead human resource programs and projects.

·        Conduct research through various methods (data collection, surveys etc.) to identify a problematic situation or find the cause.

·        Provide advice and recommendations to HR personnel for resolution of daily issues.

·        Formulate strategic and practical plans to address human resource matters.

·        Devise plans and techniques to drive change and culture management.

·        Assist in the development and integration of policies.

·        Select and implement suitable HR technology.

·        Help establish control systems for compliance with business methods and HR practices.

·        Review systems and processes and make modifications to address issues.

·        Successfully fulfil client expectations and deliver engagement objectives as a part of a team

·        Involve and take ownership to deliver project as per firm’s quality standards and expected client satisfaction.

Job Qualifications

•        5-8 years’ Experience in the same field.

•        BSc in business administration or relevant field; Quality Management Certification, Six lean Sigma Black belt or MBB/MSc in human resources is a must.

•        Experience in Business Intelligence, project management, HR related and audit or consulting firms.

•        In-depth knowledge of BI & HR principles, functions, methods and best practices

•        Solid understanding of research methods and analysis

•        Ability to plan and manage fieldwork along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.

•        Ability to strategize and formulate business processes, models, plans and strategies.

•        An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities

•        Strong proficiency in basic PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques

•        Articulate, well-spoken, team player and passionate about delivering tangible outcomes.

•        Excellent communication and consulting skills.

•        Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

•        Ability to conduct extensive research.
