Project HSE Director-code 9001
Job descriptions:
· Directing the resources and activities of the project to support the HSE programs by providing advice and guidance to the management.
· Continually maintaining an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge, and preparedness across the project to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE.
· Leading implementation of the company and the country programs in safety and environment protection.
· Investigating accidents and initiating corrective actions.
· Providing technical guidance to management in the area of EH&S.
· Creating annual EH&S plan in accordance with the company’s HSE strategy.
· Conducting performance appraisals and providing career direction to direct reports.
· Managing and maintaining site fire protection systems.
· Defining and managing emergency plans
· Analyzing data, he receives from the Project H&S Manager and the Project Environmental Manager and report back to corporate HSE Director.
· Helps Project Director by updating him with statistics and reports to have a clear vision of the HSE situation in the project.
· Monitoring the implementation of HSE training programs.
· Planning project HSE campaigns and incentive programs.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree preferably in Engineering or Science
2.12+ years of experience
3. NEBOSH-OSHA-ISO45001/18001- ISO14001
4. English fluency is a must.
5. Computer skilled.
6. Previous experience in similar position shall be an advantage.
