Purchasing Supervisor Jobs in Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to meet the organization’s needs and objectives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement requirements and establish specifications and standards for goods and services.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and maintain a supplier database.
Source and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and other criteria, and negotiate terms and conditions to obtain favourable agreements.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of product specifications, quantities, delivery schedules, and pricing.
Monitor and track supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.
Evaluate and analyse supplier performance, pricing, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and participate in supplier development activities, such as supplier audits and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

5+ of Purchasing Experience
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry or organization.
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.

Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
