Operations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and implementing all key functions across the restaurants; and taking a lead in its day to day operations to support the organization’s core business processes efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Formulate and develop the business directions, objectives, targets and plans within the regions for the responsible brands.
Drive business development and expansion strategies in the assigned region to further strengthen the Company’s market position.
It is the fundamental responsibility to ensure that TDE is executed in all outlets of the brand.
Manage unit level staff so they maintain supreme customer satisfaction ensuring that all five senses of a customer are satisfied.
Manage a team of Senior Restaurant Managers, coordinating with them on a day to day basis ensuring that brand philosophy is rightly followed.
Ensure that the company’s operational procedures, policies and standards is implemented for all brand outlets.
Responsible for recruiting, training and validating managers, staff and chefs for all brand outlets.
Implement the company’s operational procedures, policies and standards.
Provide effective leadership and oversight of the business operations to ensure smooth operation of the office and all departments are in compliance with the company direction and legal requirements.
Review and analyse periodical financial operations, financial reporting in order to further plan and modify strategically the operational activities.
Accountability for signing documents that verify the country organizations compliance with financial, legal and government rules and regulations.
Establish industry presence, create visibility and impact with industry groups and leaders
Align and focus the efforts of organizational or departmental units to support the business objectives.
Build strong management team and relationship. Manage the manpower effectively and to ensure high service standard and high team spirit among staff.
Lead company and staff performance on a regular basis to ensure long term achievement of the plans within the region.
Manage the bottom line to ensure an appropriate level of profitability for the organization.
Lead change by utilizing your understanding of major organizational or industry transitions to define and communicate what the organization must do to support these changes.
Manage employee performance through activities such as; career development, coaching and counselling, employee relations, goal setting and performance appraisal, succession planning and administration. Strategically develop key talent within the organization.
Act as the lead spokesperson for all media and press relations.
Formulate monthly targets and yearly budgets, marketing plans and objectives considering market factors ensuring achievement of such targets in most cost-efficient manner.
Ensure constant update of products and services with respect to international and local standards.
Monitor closely and continuously the activities of all unit managers and ensure smooth running of the office and the restaurants; nationally and internationally.
Should always look for new opportunities of development; business enhancement etc and report to the management accordingly.
Constantly be in touch with all the latest trends in the industry and acquire all necessary skills as the company keeps growing.
As the company grows, organize staff, allocate resources, execute controls, and systemize daily functioning and maintain efficient MIS in multi-unit operations.
Assist management in the development of new concepts.
Should efficiently manage multi concepts, multi-unit operations.
Skills
Similar exposure in a multi-unit upscale restaurant company as an Operations Manager.
Strong interpersonal, communications, negotiation, public speaking, and presentation skills.
