Senior System Analyst Jobs in Oman
Job Description
Lead the requirements gathering sessions with business users.
Understand the current business processes, and work with the business users to identify opportunities for business process improvement.
Gather, analyze, and document functional requirements from business users.
Translate the business requirements to specific software requirements and communicate them to the technical team for development.
Work with the Project Manager to monitor project progress and to identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues.
Act as an interface between the business users and technical and support teams.
Assist in the creation of test scenarios, test scripts and test data.
Work with the business users to validate that the developed software meets the business requirements.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
5-7 years of relevant work experience in business analysis and application solution implementation in a professional consulting or end-user environment.
Certifications in advanced analytics tools, like: SAS, SQL, R is desirable.
Experience in Business intelligence tools, like: Tableau, Power BI, etc…
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including understanding of how to elicit and interpret business needs, model business functions, and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Strong process focus.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in Arabic and English.
